movie..

the students organised the movie ‘ taare zameen par ‘…..since the faculty also hadnt seen it …..it was a nice experience.

since the movie is about the ‘learning process’ of a dyslexic boy , it was relevant to our course.

we were given an exercise to write about

  • about the intrinsic relationship of learner and learning process / style
  • about the interconnectedness of process between ‘what’ and ‘how’ of the learning
  • about the learning space and ambiance that is conducive for ‘learning’ for all — regimental , uniform learning mode and system as opposed to freer explorative, self-paced way of learning.
  • about the trade off between personal motivation and relevance in comparison to externally validated and imposed / necessiated knowledge
